Liked: Great location, clean and comfortable
A genuine crisis due to management's poor handling and communication
Liked: The apartment, while old, is functional and rather comfortable. The location is good: A couple of minutes' walk to the cathedral. Unfortunately, we didn't get to enjoy any of that for long: See below.
Disliked: I've been a Booking.com customer since 2014. That's 12 years of travel across the globe, 12 years of good memories in a row. In all that time, I never once had to pack up and change apartments mid-stay, and I never had a single experience with management as bad as this one. The root cause was an accident: a pipe burst in the apartment and leaked water down to the neighbor below. That happens, and I understand accidents occur. What turned a manageable situation into a genuine crisis was how badly it was handled from there. The person behind this mismanagement was Ana, from ARoom. Her communication was severely lacking, confrontational, and unhelpful at every turn. Every interaction with her turned into friction instead of resolution, including threats to enter the apartment without authorization while my two young children were inside. The stress built up over hours until it felt like the walls themselves were closing in. At one point, after we said we simply wanted to leave, her answer was to send us checkout instructions in the middle of the night. Technically, the property should have covered the cost of alternative accommodation, but at that point I just wanted it over with. I booked and paid for an Airbnb myself and only asked for reimbursement for those extra days afterward. The reimbursement wasn't easy either, I had to press the case via premium customer service directly with Booking.com to get it finally resolved. All in all, this was the worst experience I've had with Booking.com in 12 years.
Great option for large groups
Liked: The apartment has everything you need. Perfect for large groups. At the moment of stay there were 3 bedrooms with double beds and 1 bedroom with a single bed. Amazing location, just outside the old city center, close to the public parking lot. Great value for money.

Excellent stay in Leon
Liked: Very nice apartment very close to cathedral. Check in was easy. Kitchen was well equipped. Everything was great. Coffee, tea, and hot chocolate was provided. Would highly recommend.
Disliked: Upstairs neighbors were loud but not the fault of the host.
