Very good
Not a pleasant experience
Liked: The property has excellent location. The Cathedral is just across the street from the property. Stores, restaurants, and other conveniences are just a few steps away.
Disliked: There was a foul smell coming from the bathroom which very we smelled the first time we opened the door to the unit. We had to keep the exhaust fan going all the time but that helped only a bit. We also kept the door to the bathroom closed all the time. We found it hard to sleep on our first night. We found out that leaving the water flowing into the floor drain in the shower seemed to help get rid of the bad smell. That there is no elevator also made our stay uncomfortable as we had to manually carry our luggage up 3 flights of stairs.

Recommend for a Camino rest day. Best location in Leon with comfortable bed and a hot power shower
Liked: I was most worried about finding the place and checking in after reading other reviews. I received a message on the day as promised and the building was easily marked with a sign on the facade. It was a bit daunting fiddling with a lockbox in case I got the wrong room but no issue there. The room was pretty huge for the price I paid, with a kitchen and sofa with TV. I arrived late so was actually quite pleased for the bar out front for a nightcap before going to sleep. Bed might be a little small for a couple but was plenty spacious just for me. Water pressure in the shower was amazing! And hot hot hot.
Disliked: There was some mould in the grouting in the shower…who cares really for one night; it didn’t smell. I’m not a huge fan of staff-less accommodations, especially when arriving late. I’ll concede that’s just the world we live in. It did make me nervous but I managed fine but I can understand how some people might find this difficult.
Liked: The place was ideally located overlooking the Cathedral. The bed was big and comfortable. The room was a good size and had a fridge kettle toaster so we were able to have a coffee and toast before we left. Check in was very easy
Suites catedral is a good value choice for a stay in Leon
Liked: Of course location is at its best. We liked the two rooms, kitchen, and the big window view.
Disliked: Bathroom is a little tight but not a complaint.
We liked it so much we decided to stay another night
Liked: It was so close to everything!!
Disliked: It might have been so late we didn't understand that the key ( lockbox) was on the door of our room, not downstairs when you walk in. But we figured it out 😉
