Liked: Regarding breakfast, maybe more attractive with a cook to make omelets or eggs on the stove
A friendly base from which to explore Aix-en-Provence
Liked: This is an old style Campanile Hotel with the rooms off walkways open to the elements and this can give the impression of a cheap and cheerful 1 star motel rather than a 3 star hotel. However the room was comfortable enough and the staff were helpful and friendly. The restaurant offered Campanile's usual buffet arrangement and, while there were only two options for the evening meal, I thoroughly enjoyed the food on offer
Disliked: As is common these days, one's room is not cleaned on a daily basis. That in itself is not a problem, but it is the cleaners who replenish the complementary tea and coffee and there does not appear to be any alternative sources (eg from reception). I was also disappointed to discover that the restaurant was closed on my final evening. There were local alternatives but had I known, I would have had a meal in one of the many restaurants in the city centre.
Bad stay
Disliked: The staff were not polite, the lighting in the room was very dim. There was no lighting in the hallway on the floor - completely dark and dangerous. Breakfast was lacking.
Not a good location
Liked: Comfy bed. Clean room.
Disliked: Trying to get extra coffee seemed a problem at times.... The location is rubbish.
Great hotel, modern and clean, located just outside the city!
Liked: Very modern and clean hotel Room! The male receptionist was very welcoming and helpful! We got a bed upgrade which was very nice! Access to the local bus waa great to get into the city!
Disliked: Nothing. Would be good to have a little bar fridge
Liked: Perfect place to stop in your trip. Close to Highway and clean
