  Aix is magical, easy to walk around - a vibrant town (well city) & again we had breakfast out!

  Liked: Hotel parking was v reasonable; the room was adequate but the location was perfect: we could not have been better placed to walk into the center. We arrived on a Friday so had all Saturday to discover the extensive open markets on place Richelme, place Comtales, place Hotel de Ville, not forgetting cours Mirabeau. The hotel staff recommended 'De l'une à l'autre' to eat - we were not disappointed!

  Disliked: Not a lot! (We drove via Cassis - which was charming but crowded. We ate cassis ice-cream in the port of Cassis!)

  Liked: The room is well-equipped and nicely furnished. Patio is really nice.

  Disliked: Air-conditioning was difficult to set to the desired temperature.

  Convenient location, ok for one night

  Liked: Location was very good, parking at the hotel was convenient.

  Disliked: Rather small for 3 beds. No windonws.

  Disliked: I had to pay a 99 euro city tax which was a surprise. I thought all charges were taken already?
