Hotel Lion D'Or was a charming place in a great location
Liked: Charming hotel in a great location. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The warm club like bar was a real plus. It was cozy and a great place to unwind after sightseeing
Disliked: There was nothing I didn't like about the hotel
Boked online but it really exceeded expectations - would definitely return and the town is lovely
Liked: loved the central location - great for staggering back with shopping: mixture of modern and clean facilities but enough old world french charm. Having a car park was a real bonus as when driving down narrow streets in a UK car you really need a place to leave it as soon as you can. We very much liked the fact that at Dinner there were many french people - and the food was excellent.
