Very good
Funky hotel in a great location
Liked: Very convenient location, funky hotel great value for money!
A lovely enjoyable quick stay with excellent local food
Liked: Very convenient to the motorway with excellent restaurant
Good location, reasonable rooms but very busy public areas and not as good as they seem to claim
Liked: Aircon was good during a very hot spell. Good parking. Person who checked us in was pleasant. Didn’t take breakfast so can’t comment. Location pretty good for walking into town yet easy to get onto the main roads.
Disliked: Some staff a bit surly. Pool full of screaming kids and most outdoor areas dodgy due to smokers everywhere.
Restful stopover in surprising and re-freshingly eccentric surroundings
Liked: Very Good - enjoyed the local produce at breakfast, the quirky non-corporate feel of the place and the helpfulness of the staff who gave the impression of a well functioning and motivated team
Disliked: nothng in particular
Hotel not for us. Excellent location, great for families, with very friendly and helpful staff
Liked: Excellent location, very friendly and helpful staff. Would suit a young family with children who would love the zany style of the hotel, and all the entertainment options for them.
Disliked: We understand that this is budget accommodation, so you generally get what you pay for. But we booked it because the reviews were so good and we only wanted somewhere to sleep, no meal or breakfast required. However, the beds were very uncomfortable, the mattress was just a piece of foam on top of the base, and worse still covered with a plastic protective fitted sheet. It made the bed very hot, and the sheets didn't feel like cotton so it made matters worse. Very small double bed. Music playing until 10.00 p.m. but you'll be okay if your room is at the back of the hotel.
Wonderful family location, relaxing and fun
Liked: Really wonderful hotel for families with kids of any age - so many things that we liked - quiet location, funky design, loads of fun games and facilities for children (pool, petanque/boules, volleyball, board games, all sorts!). Great security for vehicles including a metal car park gate at night. Really relaxed vibes, we think this was our favourite and most relaxing stay on our entire 2-week european roadtrip
Disliked: The food in the restaurant was delicious but maybe a little narrow in range/scope in terms of number of options available - maybe a price for being cooked fresh using local ingredients - but it made it slightly tricky to feed slightly-picky child
