Good
Hotel Le Foch
Liked: Staying in a hotel with no frills was an enjoyable experience, somewhere to shower and sleep, that has a bar downstairs and a restaurant next door.
Disliked: There was nothing i disliked, maybe the shower vould be a little bigger.
the worst stay in a long time
Liked: It was in a good location, but thats it
Disliked: It was very old, very dirty, the bed was so small, and it was just really very very low standard. It was the worst hotel I have slept in in such a long time, and I am a backpacker from the old days, so imagine. they dont even bother to change a ventilator that cost maybe 30€, it was falling down all the time so you had to lean it against something. Please just spend a little bit more money somwhere else and have a good night sleep.
Disappointing and overpriced
Liked: The only good things about this hotel were the location, a 5 minute walk to the centre of town, and the breakfast. The lady serving breakfast was very nice. Beaune itself is well worth a visit, it's fascinating and has some wonderful restaurants.
Disliked: Everything else. The room bore no resemblance to the pictures on Booking.com. There were no curtains, the window was rotting and the stairs up to the room were wet from a leak in the ceiling. The bathroom smelled of drains and the shower was disgusting. At £85 for the night for this room, plus breakfast, it is grossly overpriced. Check in time on the confirmation was from 3pm-8pm. We arrived at 3 to a locked door and had to phone to get in as the bar was closed until 6.30pm. The person who met us came across as not being pleased to be disturbed and he quickly handed over the keys and pointed to where the room was before retreating. Not a good welcome.

Liked: The hotel is in a good location.
Disliked: The room was not clean with mould on the walls, an unpleasant smell and rubbish left in the room. The bedding was of poor quality and had a funny smell. There was a fan left in the room, but not set up and no instructions were provided or given on how to set it up.
Liked: The staff really went out of their way to give us what we wanted.
Disliked: Room a bit dated.
Liked: Friendly staff member served us breakfast
Disliked: Bed bugs! Awful bed linen and towels, not sure about cleanliness.
