Good
Great location for a stopover, right next to the old town
Liked: Excellent location for a one night stopover stay. Nice to have my own kitchenette as I prefer to bring my own food along. Comfortable bed. Everything was clean. Friendly staff. Secure underground parking available for 7 euro, lovely wide spaces in the car park!
Disliked: Reception was meant to be open until 9pm, I arrived just after 8pm and the receptionist was just locking up. I was really lucky to catch her, 2 minutes later and I would have had to call someone to get my room key etc out of the safe. The hotel has a different name (Zenitude) from the one listed on booking.com which hardly helped me with finding the place. I had to go and ask at the next door Ibis Hotel. Room quite warm (no AC), it was manageable with the window open at night but there is quite a lot of noise coming from the street, just something to be aware of during hot periods. If you want to park in the underground car park you are given a fob during check-in, it would be handy if this was pointed out in advance with a suggestion about where to temporarily park in the interim, as this can be slightly tricky especially with the hotel being on a one way street. Like the year before (when I stayed in the Ibis) I managed to get lost whilst just trying to go around the block to come back to the car park!
Zenitude not Comfort
Liked: The room was basic but had enough room, a good bathroom and a balcony. Above all it was clean. Typical 3 star. Good base for a few days sightseeing
Disliked: The building is labelled Zénitude. Nowhere does it say Hotel Comfort so it was very confusing. We spent time dri ing around thinking we were in the wrong place
Very comfortable, well equipped and well located
Liked: Room was very comfortable and clean. The kitchenette was compact and well laid out with all we needed and having the laundry downstairs was a bonus and cheaper than the ones in town. Location was great as well, close enough to all the attractions. Our bicycles were stored safely in a bike room. We had realised beforehand from reading the reviews that there had been a name change to Zenotopia - something that still needs to be sorted on Booking.com but there was no trouble finding it
Central, comfortable, spacious and clean apartment with reception
Liked: Very large room and nice livinroom areas with a table and a functional kitchen. Very central. Very clean.
Great spot easy walking distance to centre
Liked: Very clean - very central - great parking options - the underground car park is worth the extra charge - breakfast was reasonably good alhough ham/meat not available on the second morning
Disliked: Shame the TV wasnt a smart TV - whilst it was fairly quiet it was at times possible to here voices next door
Terrible response over chat or phone. No fan or AC
Liked: Small room with Kitchen and furniture. Check-out was fine with the front desk colleague
Disliked: No Air conditioning as advertised. No response to chat messages, when needed. Parking reservation was confirmed and on the day of arrival it was cancelled. Street parking was okay. Phone calls were neither addressed properly nor call backs were given. Check-in instructions were disaster for late check-in. No entrance door pin. Key was locked in a lock box and access information was not provided. No blinds at the windows, just a transparent curtain.
