  Nice room. Hotel needs more facilities

  Liked: The room was large, well equipped and comfortable. The bathroom was also good and the shower very powerful. The staff were pleasant, check in and out was simple. The location wasn't bad, on the outskirts of Caen, but easily reached and parking was okay.

  Disliked: The hotel lacked any real facilities outside the room. You had to walk outside and down the road to the restaurant, there was no bar or any other facilities downstairs. Breakfast was uninspiring for a hotel of this quality. With some changes this could be a very high end hotel, but it feels like all the attention is on the restaurant and the hotel is an after thought. Plus it wasn't very cheap, we booked it expecting a little more luxury.

  Number one pick in Caen, would stay again!

  Liked: Excellent parking, beautiful room, lovely inclusion of local “beurre salé” sweets to welcome us to Normandy.

  Fabulous place to start or end to a vacation

  Liked: Diner was exceptional in a beautiful court yard setting which was the main reason for our visit as the hotel is a little way out of Caen.

  Disliked: After a long day sightseeing it would have been good to have been told of the outside sitting area Where we could have relaxed with a cold drink

  We didn't stay and expect a full refund

  Liked: Didn't stay for breakfast, left when realised this wasn't a hotel but a building site.

  Disliked: A hotel with spa, bar and restaurant advertised, a building site was delivered with none of these. So disappointed!
