  Liked: Nice location, friendly staff. Gym was pretty good

  Lovely hotel -building and staff, in central old town location

  Liked: Beautiful old building with contemporary style. Perfect central location. Excellent breakfast. V.helpful, kind staff who stayed late to receipt us when we were after 10.30.pm due to ferry delays.

  Excellent hotel, very enjoyable stay

  Liked: Lovely hotel with excellent food, good off road parking. Staff were very helpful and hard working. Good location for the early morning ferry trip.

  Hotel was nice but misleading information about parking

  Liked: The hotel and breakfast were great, very helpful staff and nice rooms

  Disliked: I specifically wanted (and booked accordingly) a hotel with parking. The hotel had a very limited number of spaces, none of which were ever available when I needed to park. Spent an extra half an hour each evening trying to find a pay and display spot to park vaguely nearby, then having to walk back to the hotel, crossing busy roads with a child to look after. Would have booked elsewhere had this been made clear before booking.

  Maybe it's okay if you don't have a dog. Don't visit during a heatwave

  Liked: Good location.

  Disliked: The dog-friendly rooms have NO air conditioning. And they are on the ground floor in a main street so there is a real security risk if you leave windows open.
