  Could be better

Liked: Staff were polite and trying to be helpful, breakfast was good, location was ok. Breakfast area and pool area were nice.

Disliked: There was an issue with Booking.com reservation, which stressed me at the very beginning and took time to sort it out. Room and the air in it was not very fresh. It seemed like they hadn't cleaned it before my arrival. I had informed the staff and they came with a refreshing spray, which caused even more inconvenience for me. It was quite disappointing way to solve the situation. "View" was towards residential building across with people on their balconies and it felt very uncomfortable to pull the curtain and open the window and get natural light and fresh air. I was expecting it to be cleaner.

  Charming hotel in old Cannes

Liked: Great location in old Cannes. Very helpful & friendly staff, particularly the owner. Lovely fresh breakfasts with lots of choice. We asked to move as our double bed & room were very small, even though it was described as superior. We were moved to a much larger room with twin beds without any fuss or delay, which made our stay so much more enjoyable.

Disliked: The pool needed a shower! There was also little space in front of the sunbeds for people to pass.
