Great location and friendly staff, but tiny, dark rooms and very poor breakfast

Liked: Excellent location in the centre of Cannes. Close to the waterfront, a supermarket, cafés and restaurants. Everything is within walking distance. Friendly and helpful staff. Good housekeeping. The room was clean, and the wardrobe was convenient.

Disliked: The room was very small and uncomfortable for a stay longer than one night. The window faced an inner courtyard, with almost no natural light. The room was dark all day. It felt like living in a basement, with the lights constantly on. There was no chair or desk. No proper space to sit, use a laptop or even put personal belongings. Only tiny bedside shelves. The breakfast was extremely disappointing. One of the poorest hotel breakfasts I have experienced. Just basic drinks, a croissant and a small selection of cold cuts. Definitely not worth the price. My advice: skip the hotel breakfast and enjoy one of the lovely cafés nearby. You will probably spend about the same and eat much better.
