Big chain hotel with standard offering next to Chantilly

Liked: Very convenient location for Chantilly castle although we needed a shuttle ( that was provided by the organizer of the event we attended).

Disliked: Service was not so good, long queue at check in because the machine to take the garantee deposit was not working. Breakfast sub par for luxury hotel with scrambled eggs made from liquid preparation. Restaurant was really bad with terrible menu. After we sat we decided to leave and go to a nearby restaurant that turned out to be very good ( but again nearby means you need a car!)

    Nice stay

Liked: Always nice to stay here..breakfast really great and great location

Disliked: actually this time it was a little bit less in quality. Breakfast really good but the room was not that clean and comfortable as last time we stayed here (actually same room).. but of course it is still a place worth to stay

Would stay again but at a cheaper rate!

Liked: Great dinner service, the kids enjoyed the games room and our beds were very comfortable.

Disliked: The swimming pools were both quite grubby. We didn’t have any hand soap in our bedroom despite reporting it to Reception. I couldn’t see a way of double locking our bedroom door when going to bed which I do normally like to do. I believe it was a French bank holiday but felt like we’d overpaid for our 1 night which didn’t even include breakfast.

Disliked: There was a faint smell of sewage water near the game room when walking to the swimming pool.

    Accor should be ashamed!

Liked: Where do you start………first impression was a of a disused holiday camp with litter around and the lake empty. It was worse inside with a smell of sewage in certain areas! The first room they gave me was horrific with mould in the bathroom, after complaining the new room was much better, I did not eat in the hotel but the main bar area was closed at 9pm on a Sunday and the outside bar was filthy with tables not cleared, I eventually got a beer and in fairness was served by a really charming lady. Overall pretty much the worst hotel I have stayed in this year!
