  Liked: The location was great near Gordes with free parking. The apartment was clean and the site was quiet and well maintained.

  Disliked: Unfortunately, there was no Wi-Fi, and the mobile signal was very weak during the day and non-existent at night. Travelling alone, this was worrying. The pool was advertised as heated but wasn’t. There was also no hairdryer, and no basic essentials such as hand soap, washing-up liquid, shower gel or shampoo.

  Loved the location and the room, just could improve the experience with a few extras

  Liked: Great location in the country with a short drive to Gordes or Rousillon.

  Disliked: They didn’t respond to messages. We were one towel short. They didn’t supply two towels for two guests. There was no detergent or way to wash dishes, no drying towel for dishes and had to make our own bed.

  Accommodation to avoid

  Liked: Just location and surroundings.

  Disliked: We arrived on Sunday. As agreed with the host, we were given a room number and informed that our room would be left unlocked. However, this is where the initial problem arose: we waited for more than two hours for someone from the property to arrive, and that person eventually assigned us a different room from the one we had been told was ours. Before that, we were instructed to try opening the doors of two occupied rooms, with guests inside. After waiting for two hours in temperatures of +37°C, someone finally arrived and took us to the room intended for us. Unfortunately, the problems did not end there. The room was unusable from the start because the drains in the sink, bathtub, and toilet were not functioning at all—they were completely clogged. I have attached photographs as evidence. On the last day of our stay, a sewage tanker arrived and parked directly in front of our room to empty the septic tank, causing an unbearable stench. If you wish to turn your vacation into a nightmare, choose this accommodation. I am providing photographs and other evidence to support these statements.

  Nice location, poorly supplied

  Liked: This property has great potential because of its amazing location…

  Disliked: … but the lack of amenities is absolutely baffling. We arrived in the evening after a long journey - the bed was not made and there was no handsoap. The kitchen was not clean - with old food in the cupboards and sand on the counter top. There was no wifi, no cleaning supplies, no kitchen towels - we even had to put in our own trash bags. At this price level you would expect an at least minimally equipped house, so that you don’t have to spend your first day buying all the basic items and supplies that should be part of the house. I see that I am not the first one complaining about this, and the managers promise every time to take this feedback seriously. Let’s hope they actually do this time.

  Liked: Comfortabel huisje met airco boven en beneden. Goed uitgeruste keuken, ruim terras met voldoende meubilair. Mogelijkheid om een was te draaien. Het zwembad zag er goed uit maar geen gebruik van gemaakt omdat het niet warm genoeg was. Minpunten: geen communicatie met de verhuurder voorafgaand aan het verblijf. Je moet zelf de bedden opdekken. Klein wastafeltje in de badkamer en geen douchestang in de douche.
