  Glad we stayed there

  Liked: Historic house with up-to-date bathroom, soundproof windows, view over the valley, just a few minutes drive to outside the town. We prefer to eat out so no comment on kitchen. Comfortable beds. Accomodating hosts. Lovely garden.

  Disliked: Close to road so best to keep windows shut to keep out traffic noise (windows are pretty soundproof) otherwise worth it for the view!

  Disappointing, not like the glowing reviews seen

  Liked: Great location with a good view. However 3 croissants, one each, was rather stingy, although there were 3 rolls as well

  Disliked: Difficult to find but our overall impression was of a very tired hotel, with very dated decor. The hosts were very welcoming but knew little about where to eat locally- there was no restaurant service available on Friday evenings. I forgot to add that the hotel is totally unsuitable for any wheelchair-bound guests, as there is no lift.

  Disappointing

  Liked: The view. Young man who carried my room to the room was a nice gesture

  Disliked: No air conditioning! Very uncomfortable to sleep. Staff were not as welcoming as other hotels I have stayed at before.

  I enjoyed the historic interior, including front parlor, check-in desk, and amazing staircases. Great to see the histor

  Liked: Lovely patio w ample French tables and chairs; decorative fountains and plantings. Nice views.

  Disliked: Doesn’t always serve dinner and very remote to go elsewhere. Had to beg for cheese plate!

  The hotel is a little dated but clean and the staff were very friendly

  Liked: Location just outside Grasse was great with beautiful views across the valley. Breakfast was good, staff friendly.

  Disliked: No aircon and it was the hottest night. There was a fan which circulated the hot air. We did not sleep well. Room was tiny.
