Lovely locations, friendly helpful staff, room decor could do with a refresh

Liked: The staff were friendly and accommodating, very apologetic when we had an issue with the room type.

Disliked: We booked triple room for 2 adults and a child but were given a room with only one king size bed. When questioned we were told they were fully booked but it was the wrong room so we all had to sleep in one bed which wasn’t ideal

Liked: Amazing view of the château from our hotel room window! The staff was friendly and very helpful.

Disliked: The mattresses had huge dents in the middle and overall weren't comfortable

Stunning location & lovely clean rooms

Liked: Beautiful location, really friendly and kind staff. Lovely clean rooms.

Disliked: Parking was difficult on arrival with our luggage, rooms were quite hot (no aircon) but we did come in a heat wave!

Great stay. From a returning visitor

Liked: Perfectly located, close to the centre. Some of the rooms overlook what can be described as one of the best in France. It overlooks the castle and lake. The staff were exceptional and helpful. They made an effort to accommodate my limited French language without being standoffish. The food is excellent. 2 x 3 course meals with wine water, aperitifs and coffees all for around £100. Breakfast was plentiful and had a nice touch of each person having their own tongues to handle their own food. You could leave your luggage after checkout if you wanted to explore the area. Highly recommended.

Disliked: No parking. This is not an issue as there is ample free parking available.

Excellent hotel, great location and friendly staff

Liked: Great location for the castle. Super friendly staff. Really comfortable.

Disliked: Shame there wasn’t Aircon but a heatwave is not normal so I can’t mark it down for that. The room was excellent.
