  Fine for the price

  Liked: The property is in a great location and the parking is very helpful. If you have a large or long car, it is not ideal. We have a Volvo XC40 and it was just small enough. It’s a small/mid size SUV. The room was fine; large and clean. It is NOT luxury, but we knew that and that is reflected in the price which was good value. The room can be a bit noisy on a weekend night, but that’s expected in a city centre.

  Disliked: It would be helpful to have a mirror in the bedroom, not just bathroom and there was nowhere to hang towels to dry. Parking opening times are a bit annoying, but not the end of the world. The beds are not the comfiest.

  Swerve this place

  Liked: Just the location

  Disliked: Everything else. Too expensive Dirty Old fashioned. Rotten window frames. TV from the 1950s The bed was disgraceful. The lift was appalling The stair case a health hazard.

  Wonderful two day visit to Poitier - we hope to return!

  Liked: Ideally situated for walking to sites, cafes, restaurants. Owners very helpful. Parking available if you book ahead.

  Liked: Right in the centre, fell into the prices with the local music festival happening that night. The Poitevins and Poitevines certainly know how to party!
