Very good stay in a beautiful setting!
Liked: Beautiful setting. Good food, comfrtable room and good breakfast. Very impressed with the English spoken by the staff.
Disliked: Room was a little bit grubby and needs some upgrading. Didn't spoil our stay.

Liked: Lovely location, friendly staff, nice restaurant and lots of outdoor seating by the lake. Very close to the motorway so good overnight stop as we did.
Disliked: While some of the reviews were critical of outdated decor of the rooms, ours seemed newly decorated and was at least crisp and fresh. It had good airconditioning which is so important this summer. However given it was sold as a 'superior' room it was very small, and the choice of decor was functional rather than any sort of style. Didn't really match the rest of the hotel. Also odd to have no lift in a relatively modern hotel, fine for us, but might be an issue for people with heavy luggage.
Liked: Food was amazing with a great location.
Disliked: Fire alarm went off at just gone 8am. Staff didn't seem to know what had happened. Quite a few people just looked out of their rooms and then stayed there and even though my wife and me went outside and joined other people. It seemed like the staff weren't actually involved in making sure we were safe or telling us what was happening. Once the alarm went off we just all went back in, confused as to what had happened. And still no staff interaction.
