Disliked: We checked out a day early due to concerns about the planned demonstrations, following the violence the previous weekend. The hotel’s proximity to the city centre, where shops had been boarded up, added to our concerns. I was disappointed by the lack of communication from the hotel regarding the situation. When I informed staff that we were leaving early, I was met with silence and little acknowledgement of our concerns. Better communication and a more understanding response would have made a difference.

Disliked: The photos on the website are slightly misleading and showing the hotel to be more high end than it is.
