  Charming Central Location

  Liked: Central location. Easy walk to the centre. Very well organised and a good selection for breakfast. Pleasant staff, helpful. The gardens were beautifully maintained and the ambience was very restful. Although the building looks (and is) old, the rooms and facilities were right up to date.

  Disliked: No car parking provided but ample on-road parking outside the hotel. Chargeable but not expensive and can be paid for via the "paybyphone" app. Useful if you can't understand the instructions on the car park payment machine!

  Liked: Welcome by the manager and the young receptionist Explanation of key system and code system Handy parking - manager actually stood in the available parking space! Location to main commercial area Beautiful Courtyards And topiary Very clean and environmentally aware
