Liked: We loved the homely friendly atmosphere Natalie provided. Delicious breakfast, gorgeous decor, and we didn’t want to leave.
Beautiful property, terrible host
Liked: Beautiful rural property 5 min drive from town, with a peaceful atmosphere, pool and gardens. Breakfast was simple but delicious.
Disliked: The female owner greeted us and appeared intoxicated, stinking of alcohol. Room was clean enough, but dusty. WiFi not working and no effort to fix it, instead she blamed it on our phones. So we had no WiFi for 2 days. She also laughed at how much luggage we had (1 suitcase each..?). They don’t allow you to consume your own food and drinks?! instead you have to buy it from them, even though it doesn’t say so anywhere on booking.com To top it all off, the last morning the entire place had no running water which means we could not shower nor flush the toilet… still, no compensation was offered e and she even made us pay for the wine. It’s a shame because the location is really wonderful, but the host has very little care for her guests.
