  Beautiful apartment

  Liked: Beautiful apartment in a quiet building in a fantastic location in the old city. I enjoyed the view to the adjacent roof tops. Owner very responsive, and the person who met us to let us in & show us around was very nice. While you can’t drive right up to the building because it is in the pedestrian only section, it’s a short walk from the parking lot.

  Nice appartement inside the town. Excellent for enjoying Sarlat

  Liked: Very nice appartement in the middle of the town, close to everything,although the train station is 20 minutes away on foot. Very well equipped too. Bright and spacious. It has an elevator in the building. Windows are thick enough to keep out the noise from the restaurants downstairs.

  Disliked: Not enough kitchen paper as I stayed for 6 days and sometimes cooked my food. There was no shower gel. I found one labeled soap (not sure if it was for shower)but very little left inside. Pillows are too soft.

  Enjoyable stay and this place enhanced our Sarlat experience

  Liked: The pictures were exactly what the place looked like. Nathalie was always prompt answering messages and very helpful. Location was perfect. Everything stocked in the place provided for all our needs even down to cold water in the refrigerator when we arrived and it was a very warm day. 10/10 would stay here again. If you’re a light sleeper and you need to sleep with the windows open due to it being warm, there were people out talking pretty loud until midnight to as late as 2am on most nights. Windows closed kept the sound out. Free parking we were always able to get a spot.

  Disliked: Nothing. It was fabulous!

  Perfection!

  Liked: This property was perfect. It was right in the middle of the old city, close to lots of restaurants and shops. A short drive to the river and the caves. The apartment itself was spacious and well stocked with, including a clothes washer. 10/10 would recommend and would stay there again!

  Fabulous, clean and comfortable apartment in the middle of the medieval town of Sarlat

  Liked: Wonderful property in the heart of the medieval city. Beautifully decorated and incredibly clean. Very comfortable. Had everything you needed for a short or long stay. Walking distance to everything in the town including restaurants, shops etc. Nathalie the owner was very easy to contact and arranged for Cynthia who was meeting us at the apartment to pick us up from the train station as we were unable to get a taxi. Incredibly grateful for the service. Would definitely recommend and would stay again. Also able to catch a bus to some attractions and to visit the beautiful Dordogne valley and villages nearby.

  Disliked: There was an unprecedented heatwave during our visit and there is no aircon in the apartment. We were aware of this before booking but didn’t expect the heat so soon. There was a good quality Dyson fan in the apartment and helped with the shutters and blinds closed to keep the heat out. I think it is difficult to find airconditioning in French properties in general.

  Enjoy the Heart!

  Liked: This is exactly as advertised—or perhaps even better! Location, character, space, inclusions, proximity, value… all come top of the list. Then of course there is Sarlat’s convenient position to exploring the rest of the Dordogne, for which one really needs a car, and the property’s proximity to free parking is a real help.

  Disliked: Nothing.
