  Dordogne + Sarlat + a Stay at Hotel Compostelle adds up to a wonderful time!

  Liked: This is a great place to base yourself in Sarlat so that you can enjoy this wonderful town and explore the wonderful Dordogne region!. Two of us had a huge two bedroom suite - very comfortable. everything we could want. Good breakfast, nice to have a little pool on the very hot summer days and the STAFF are super nice. It's nice and quiet at the end of the main road but very easy to walk to everythingI highly recommend.

  Disliked: Hard to get a taxi from Sarlat train station to town. Arrange for one in advance.

  Liked: Perfect location to visit Sarlat. Hotel was clean and comfortable.

  Disliked: Pool area a bit small and parking is on the street. We were lucky to find a space and didn't move the car, but in August, this is a challenge.

  Great staff and location

  Liked: The staff were absolutely lovely and very helpful. The location is very good, the size was good and free car parking was easy enough to find.

  Disliked: The walls are paper thin, the whole night it sounded like people were coming into our room, a couple time I got my phone torch to make sure. We had people at all hours of the night walking on top of us, on the sides, then woken up early in the morning when people leaving. No insulation or noise protection AT ALL.

  Ok but could be better

  Liked: Staff is super nice and very helpful. Pool area is nice and location is just a short walk from the historic centre of Sarlat. Free parking on street outside of the hotel.

  Disliked: There are no plugs near the bed, which is unacceptable nowadays. Plugs on the other side of the room. Aircon was smelly so clearly not cleaned properly. Generally a bit too pricy for what your are getting.

  Good choice

  Liked: - Nice and friendly welcome - Good location. 10 minutes walk from town. - Free parking in the street across the hotel - Swimming pool with drinks served - Airco in one room was working very well - Clean - Good breakfast
