  Room in the tower of beautiful Sarlat

  Liked: Excellent location

  Disliked: Parking was far from the hotel at 400 metres carrying bags

  We stayed 2 nights. Fortunately it rained so it helped. Good private parking but not nearby

  Liked: Walking distance to town. Beautiful surrounding. Restaurant right at the entrance of the hotel and that makes it convenient.

  Disliked: The window doesn’t have screen. So when it’s hot and you want to open the window. Then the mosquitoes fly in. Private parking is a little far but it doesn’t bother because we were told to park right in front of the hotel driveway in order to unload and load.

  We would stay there again

  Liked: This is a charming hotel. They provide a nice breakfast and the staff were very friendly. Although the room was very small, it was comfortable we enjoyed our stay.

  Disliked: The sink in the bathroom was ridiculously small.

  Charming historic hotel in the center of town to be avoided during the summer

  Liked: Beautiful 13th century castle in the center of this historic town that was converted into a hotel. We had supper and breakfast there as well. The food and service were very good. The rooms are well furnished and clean. The wifi worked well. The staff was available and responsive.

  Disliked: We were there in August 2026. It was HOT, very hot. The hotel has no air conditioning. It was unbearably hot in the rooms. There was a window that one could open but there were mosquitos. Our room had a nice balcony and I tried to sleep on the outside balcony on the stone floor to go somewhere a bit cooler. It was miserable. My wife and I had a terrible night's sleep due to the sauna temperature inside the well insulated 13th century stone walls. I'm sure it's nice any time other than the summer.
