  Comfortable but cramped

  Liked: Warm reception lounge, breakfast

  Disliked: Very cramped twin room should have been sold as single. Bathroom with separate wc wasted space Excellent shower but getting in like entering a sm.all cupboard.. Modern Ibis Styles compromised by being shoehorned into repurposed industrial building. Parking problematic. Better hotel for train travellers.

  An excellent base hotel for your trip

  Liked: The hotel is just a minute’s walk from the railway station (and the bus station). If you want to get around the area by public transport, it’s an excellent base. It’s quite a long way from the city centre – about one and a half kilometres. The walk there isn’t particularly pleasant, but there are buses too. So, if you’re looking for accommodation close to the old town, this isn’t for you. The room is tiny; I think it would be very cramped for two people. It was fine on my own. Everything is clean. The toilet is in a separate room. The shower is practically in the room itself. The breakfast is fine.

  Disliked: My window looked out onto an ugly view.

  Quick stop

  Liked: If you're looking for a quick overnight stay, the gare, rental cars, and city center are a very convenient walk. Comfortable, nice size bed, shutters make the room nice and dark for a good night's sleep. Strong AC. Plentiful petite dejeuner.

  Disliked: Room size bordering on tiny. The sink is in an almost inaccessible position. I couldn't stand over the sink to brush my teeth or wash my face. Very little "shelf space".

  Perfect place for exploring Vannes

  Liked: Short walk to centre of Vannes and very good breakfast. Secure parking at back of hotel.

  Disliked: Forgot there would be a sink in room nof in bathroom which with thought only applied to IBIS budget hotels. Just something that is personal to us.
