  Liked: Fabulous panorama from the private terrace; modern, clean and very comfortable apartment and very attentive and responsive host.

  Disliked: Everything was good, although the noisy water pumps on the terrace did spoil the ambiance somewhat (and the kitchen could be improved with a kettle, a sharp knife, a saucepan with a handle and some better utensils for cooking). But all in all, we definitely recommend and would be happy to return one day!

  Wonderful, refreshing and peaceful property

  Liked: Terrific apartment with everything you could possibly need on a short break. The owners were lovely. The view is quite wonderful of Valley of the Temples & the old town itself and not only from the terrace, but the views can be seen from the kitchen, the sitting room and the bedroom as well. Very stylish apartment. Very quiet and peaceful area around us.

  Disliked: Be prepared that it is up the top of the building and so you will have to climb stairs with your luggage. Just have to have your wits about you to negotiate a car in the streets proceeding the property - theres a small though-fare of cobbled streets that initially didn’t look like you could enter, nor fit a car through.. but we eventually saw other people driving through and figured it out.

  I’ll go back next time I’m in Agrigento

  Liked: I was here for two days but would have been happy to spend a week. It has enough comfort and facility to allow for a longer stay and the view must be one of the best in the area, despite not being of the duomo, you see the valley of the temples, the city, the harbour as far as scala dei turchi.

  Liked: Fantastic view over Agrigento, towards rage sea and the Valley of the Temples. Clean plus easy walking distance to Agrigento town centre. Helpful owner who showed us around & pointed out tips such as the route to town, parking, etc.

  Disliked: A few simple additions would have made things easier. There is no kettle, that would be helpful. There is a gas cooker but a written explanation as to how to turn the gas on would have been valuable. A washing machine was advertised but there was not one on the premises. A written note as to the Wifi password would also have saved us having to contact the owner. Plus a few larger towels would have been appreciated.

  Feel on top of the world in Mario's apartment. Close to a good selection of restaurants

  Liked: Upfront - the view from Mario's apartment is amazing - think classic terracotta roof tops, the full 2 kms of the Valley's Temples and ocean right in front of you. Mario did an incredible job translating through an Italian>English app and made us feel welcome. He takes great pride in the complete refurbishment of this apartment.

  Disliked: It's perhaps a matter of style, but the linen and bed coverings weren't great.
