  Heaven is a Place on Earth

  Liked: If you ever wondered where the 80s song “Heaven is a Place on Earth” was inspired from, look no further. Tenuta Santa Caterina is an astonishing, mesmerizing, magical place. Stunning views, clean, elegant and spacious bedrooms, welcoming common areas. And if this wasn’t enough, the real gems of this venue are two amazingly generous, kind human beings: Magda and Paco. They welcome you with an open heart and a warmth you simply cannot fake. Among laughs, wine, incredible breakfast and Neapolitan songs, you’ll have the holiday of your life, and you’ll be sorry to leave. Ps. Don’t forget to visit the natural spring-fed pool.

  Liked: The owners are very kind and can also offer tours around the area and various activities. The view from the balcony is breathtaking. I would recommend staying for more than one night to truly experience the peaceful and cozy atmosphere of this place. The hosts have many animals that are very friendly and roam freely around the yard.

  Liked: Magdalena and Pasquale: wonderful owners, very friendly, helpful, enthusiastic, artistic, and intelligent (with excellent English). Among her other wonderful qualities, Magdalena is an exceptional cook. Original, artsy, well thought-out design and architecture of the villa. And the view... to die for! The sea, the hills, olive groves, fruit trees. The walk down to the secluded ancient pool - not to be missed. An easy drive to all the area attractions. This is Cilento at its best, a perfect introduction to the beautiful national park, its nature, history, and soul!

  Disliked: Too bad we had to leave after just 7 days.

  Liked: What an Exceptionally Different Experience Staying at Tenuta Santa Caterina was truly an exceptional experience — a breath of fresh air in the world of hospitality. From the five-star hotels to the unique Airbnb-type stays we've experienced, this was by far a refreshing and unforgettable change. The breathtaking views, the beautiful grounds, and most of all, the incredibly warm and genuine hospitality of Pasquale and Magdalena made this a truly magical place. Even our kids had an amazing time — from roaming the open grounds to interacting with the animals, and enjoying the freedom to touch, play, and explore the many toys and musical instruments available. Thank you, Pasquale and Magdalena, for allowing us to share in this wonderful experience!
