  Highly recommended!

  Liked: Excellent communication and assistance arriving at this remarkable property. Paolo was very helpful with describing everything at the property and in suggesting what to do in the area. Paolo was always available to assist us with anything during our stay. My wife had injured her foot prior to arrival and didn’t want to walk around town our first evening so Paolo called a local pizzeria on our behalf for a take away order. We couldn’t ask for a better host!

  The best trulli experience in Puglia

  Liked: Four weeks in Italy and this was my favourite accommodation. From our first communication with our very kind host, Paolo, we knew we were onto something special. Despite the photos on this website, I was unprepared for just how gorgeous this trulli is. Beautifully appointed, with wine, water, coffee and snacks. Breakfast included. My only disappointment was we were spending just one night there. The beds were easily the most comfortable of the trip and the bathroom was awesome. It was an easy walk from Chiancole to just about anywhere in Alberobello. If you want the trulli experience, this is it!

  A truly special stay in a family-run Trullo

  Liked: We had a wonderful stay at this genuinely family-owned Trullo. Paolo went above and beyond looking after us, including arranging our transport, and Yannis gave us a lovely welcome on our first day, helping us settle in right away. The trullo itself was beautiful, with a surprisingly luxurious shower area and a lovely private garden. It's also just a short walk from the town centre — the perfect mix of a peaceful, authentic base and easy access to everything nearby. Highly recommend for anyone looking for an authentic Puglia experience with genuinely lovely hosts.

  Disliked: Nothing. We couldn't fault the Trullo or the hospitality.

  Amazing stay at Chiancole!

  Liked: We loved everything about our stay at Chiancole! It’s a beautiful trullo, clean & comfortable and Paolo was the best host! He recommended & booked restaurants for us and was on hand to answer any questions we had about Alberobello. Great location & the aircon was a welcome retreat from the August sun. Great shower & outdoor patio area.

  Disliked: There was nothing that we didn’t like about the property. Breakfast is offered at an external restaurant and the continental offering was fine, but a little limited and could be better.

  A beautiful Trullo, close to the action, far from the madding crowd

  Liked: A beautiful conversion and everything you need, Paolo made the potentially tricky stuff (parking, unloading) seamless and easy. Thought has been put into every aspect of this property and it makes for a lovely base in Alberobello

  Disliked: Honestly there was nothing we did not like. The only improvement we could think of to suggest to the proprietor was bottles of oil and vinegar because folks staying for just a couple of days unlikely to resist buying salad or bread. But that is just because we were asked for ideas which shows the quality of this operation
