Exceptional
Perfect Alberobello experience
Liked: Lovely location and Trulli accommodation in the middle of olive groves exactly as expected. Angelo the host is extremely helpful and charming...and arrived to let us in a little helicopter!
Disliked: Just be careful when driving, as the turn off from the main road can be tricky as the entrance is narrow and not signposted. Also the drive down to the trulli is a narrow country lane which can be tight for wider vehicles.
Beautiful property, amazing host, wonderful stay
Liked: My partner and I only stayed for one night, but had an amazing experience at Pietraluce and we were very reluctant to leave the next day. The property is absolutely stunning, so relaxing and well equipped, and Angelo was the perfect host. He was very generous, upgrading our room of his own accord and made us feel so welcome. He also arrived in a helicopter to greet us, which was super cool!! The room he gave us was above and beyond our expectations and made our last night in Puglia absolutely magical. If I return to Alberobello, I will not stay anywhere else. Thank you Angelo!
Disliked: Nothing!
Liked: A large and unique trullo surrounded by a beautiful olive grove. Angelo was a lovely host, and the whole place feels like it was designed with love. A few tips: If you'd like, you can bring some fruits and vegetables for breakfast. Also, definitely use Google Maps for navigation, Waze couldn't find the location for us
Lovely stay in a typical Trullo!
Liked: It was such a wonderful experience to sleep in a Trullo! Angelo was a very nice and accomodating host, who gave us some background info about the Trulli and made us a delicious cake for breakfast!
Exceptional experience in a beautifully restored Trulli in an idyllic setting with a gracious host
Liked: We had a wonderful experience at this exceptional property. With its olive wood accents and beautiful details, this beautifully restored trulli sits in an idyllic setting amidst an olive grove just a few minutes outside of town. The outdoor spaces allow you to enjoy the tranquil surroundings, with convenient access to both Alberobello and Locorotondo. Our host, Angelo, was very gracious, warm and welcoming. His mother, Angela, provided homemade cake and cookies which made us feel at home. This was in addition to the well stocked breakfast items. We enjoyed speaking with Angelo about his family’s history on the property - five generations - and the love and care for the property shines through the home. We consider ourselves fortunate to have stayed here and will hold the memory dear.
