  Terrible service ruined the stay

  Liked: It is a novelty to stay in a place like this, and without the below negative feedback it’d probably be a 8 or 9, but the service was atrocious.

  Disliked: We paid for the breakfast which was offered during check in. When we came to the restaurant the next morning, they told us it was closed due to flooding, which is of course understandable. When we went to reception however, the conversation essentially went like this. Me: “hi the restaurant said they were closed and there was an alternative place for breakfast?” Woman: “you never paid for the buffet” Me: “yes I did” Woman: “no you paid the TAX” Me: “I paid 16 euro!” Woman: “yes, that’s the tax!” Me: “let me find the receipt but I definitely paid, the tax is only €3 per person and we stayed one night” Woman: “you did not pay for the buffet breakfast!” Me: “do you remember yesterday, we checked in and I asked you what was included and you said we have coffee, eggs, pastries…” This is high level and there is more back and forth to the above where she continues denying I paid. The woman then goes “whats your room?” And I hand her my keys, and then she goes “oh I thought you were in this other group of five people” The maths makes no sense with that line of thought… She continues to provide NO apology for being incredibly rude. Her immediate question should have been to ask what our room was to confirm we had indeed paid. Her determination to stand some weird ground over a €5 breakfast was bizarre, and the verbal back and forth was outrageous. I would not recommend staying here as I’ve never had service so bad. My native language is English but I felt race could have played a part - I’m Asian. Despite all of that, if she was apologetic this would have been fine. She was not at all. I also asked for some help to find the EasyPark car park I booked on the app and told her I was literally in the one right next the entrance of the street and she picked the wrong one. I thought this was an innocent mistake but now I’m not sure. I was just drenched and frazzled and note I could have done this myself but it was a sudden downpour.

  This is my second time there. I would recommend to everyone

  Liked: Amazing! The staff was more than helpful. Very professional. The Trulli home was unique. Lots of shops in the Trullis in the area I was staying.

  Disliked: It was wonderful until the rain came😥
