Exceptional
Home away from home with stunning views and wonderful hosts
Liked: Beautiful agriturismo in San Lazzaro, high above the Amalfi Coast, with an amazing panoramic viewpoint over the coastline and the gulf. The property is large and terraced, with only four guest rooms, so it feels peaceful and personal. We stayed in two spacious, renovated rooms. The beds were very comfortable, the bathrooms modern and well equipped, the air-conditioning worked perfectly, and the WiFi was excellent. One of our rooms also had a balcony with a fantastic view. Breakfast was one of the highlights: fresh, varied and mostly farm to table, served at the table every morning. The owners, Antonio and Daniela, were wonderful hosts, warm, helpful, communicative and always willing to help with any request or advice about the area. The access road is very narrow and steep, especially the final 200 meters, but once you arrive, the location, views, comfort and hospitality make it well worth it. Excellent value for this part of the Amalfi Coast.

A unique mountaintop experience
Liked: The host family, the location right on the top of the mountain, the bathroom, the size of the room.
Disliked: The bed with two single matresses kept slipping apart. The pillows were too soft and flat. The location is car-only --- it requires some driving experience.
A slice of paradise in the sky
Liked: An amazing private getaway on top of the mountain. The house was super friendly and amazing everything he has done with the property. A family run business where you can tell they care and put attention into detail into everything. They have a working farm and the dinners are served from most of all of the local ingredients. It's worth taking a trip just to have dinner interview from this amazing little gem. Super private, comfortable and highly recommend recommended. Good base to explore amalfi towns! We had apparently the honeymoon suite, and the room was super charming and clean and spacious.
Disliked: It's a bit of a challenge to actually find a property and then returning each day through the crazy but a bit fun winding Mountain roads. You would think you were lost, but you just keep going up the road until the road literally ends!
Liked: The hosts are lovely and very hospitable. We enjoyed a good meal over hours and enjoyed the ambiance and view. We wish we could have stayed longer.
