Great apartment in a quiet area overlooking Amalfi
Liked: I loved the location above Amalfi - it's a very quiet area. But of course it takes some effort to walk up from the valley (or you can take a bus). The apartment is spacious. I was alone, but I can easily imagine it working for a family. I had a really good stay. The nearest proper supermarket is 1.3 km away, so a nice walk there and back.
Disliked: It's a small detail, but there was some negativity in the messages (if you're late for check-in, you will pay this much) and in the apartment (if you break something, you will be charged for it). Maybe they have had bad experience in the past, but I didn't see anything like this anywhere else I stayed on this trip (or in my recent memory). It could be because Amalfi attracts a different kind of crowd compared to other places I stayed? Not sure.
It was ok for the price and it was tidy and clean
Liked: It was a nice quaint apartment and location was not bad with around 10 min walk from the bus stop
Disliked: When I asked for some extra towels, the property owner requested for extra charges which wasn’t so nice as I only asked for one more extra set. Also there was not a kettle available and no complimentary bottled water.
Liked: The house is big, clean and comfortable, there's everything you may need in the kitchen if you'd like to do some food at home. View is perfect from both of balconys, very relaxing. Also it's veru quiet place. I've to say that Host is very polite and attentive.
Liked: Very kind host, communication was great. Helped us figure out transportation and gave recommendations. Property was beautiful and has a stunning view of amalfi town. The location is quiet, private and locals are friendly. We recommend going to Blu Bar and Giovanni Pizzeria.
Disliked: The location made transportation very difficult at first. Make sure you download the “unico compania” app and buy bus tickets on there. We tried the walk to and from town… dont.
Liked: The owner was so helpful and the place was great!
