Liked: The views from the property are fantastic. It’s so quaint and quirky, like nowhere else we have stayed before. Set on the side of the mountain it was peaceful and quiet. The pool was lovely and refreshing in the very hot weather.Atrani beach was just at the bottom of the steps down the mountain. It was beautiful and the water was a welcome retreat to cool off from the sun.
Disliked: There are a lot of steps to get from Atrani to the property which is only to be expected as you are staying half way up a mountain. But we walked down the steps through the narrow streets which would remind you of Gondor (Lord of the Rings) or King’s landing (Game of Thrones) It’s like going back in time. We then got the Ravello bus back up which leaves you off close to the entrance of the property. And you don’t have to climb the steps back up in the heat.
Villa Rosa was the perfect spot for a quiet vacation with stunning views!
Liked: The location higher up the mountain is beautiful and there are views everywhere you turn. We traveled with two small children, 2 & 3 1/2, and we were able to make the walk down to Atrani for dinner easily enough, even though the walkdown seemed intimidating. Luciano was a fantastic host and make sure we had everything we needed as well as giving excellent recommendations. If we were back in the area, we would definitely stay again!
Disliked: Taxis to and from the area, add up quickly due to a stoplight, which can be as long as 15 minutes in each direction. It is absolutely no fault of the property, but something to consider.
Wonderful! Best place in the Amalfi Coast!
Liked: The place is the vivid description of Paradise in the Amalfi Coast. The apparent are beautiful and the VIEW!!! waken up every morning to the see was the best of the whole trip. Luciano, our host was incredible, super helpful and friendly.
Disliked: Just would be great if the swimming pool is open slightly later, 19:30 or 20 would nee ideal!
Liked: Stunning location and views. Wonderful large roof terrace. Pool was gorgeous. Never busy shared with a small number of other people. 417 steps to the town of Atrani but well worth it. Atrani and Ravello were gorgeous and not crowded. Luciano was very helpful always on hand when needed. Easy to get to other places nearby. A tunnel to walk through directly to Amalfi. Boat ride to Capri and Positano. Minori also very lovely
Disliked: Would really have been nice to have some fruit and a couple of ice cold drinks in the fridge on arrival as its a bit of a walk to the nearest shop
