Exceptional
We had a lovely holiday together, Gerry our host was so nice and helpful, stunning views of Amalfi
Liked: We didn’t pay for breakfast so we ate in the village which was good for us, the views were spectacular, Gerry and his family were really nice and friendly and really helpful, the food at Gerry’s bar was very good and reasonably priced, the local bus service was excellent and always on time with easy access to Amalfi town, the locals were very nice and greeted us when we passed by.
Disliked: The walls in our apartment were very thin and unfortunately we had to complain to Gerry about one particular night when the noise from next door was horrendous, Gerry to his credit sorted it out for us and the rest of our stay was very peaceful. The stairs are quite steep so anyone who wasn’t fit could have a problem, also the path from the village is very uneven in stretches and damaged our case. No nightlife in Pogerola to speak of when we visited in October apart from Gerry’s bar.
Liked: Beautiful views. The place is just a 20 Min bus ride from Amalfi and yet it feels much more quiet without all the tourist. The room was big, clean and had everything you needed, including a coffee machine. The communication with the host was great and he was always helpful. Gerry helped us organize a scooter and provided all necessary information we needed. I would highly recommend this place.
Liked: Beautiful apartment in amazing location. The view from the two balconies was stunning. The apartment was very spacious and well equipped. We loved the quiet location away from the hustle and bustle of Amalfi. Local buses ran on time, so good public transportation to Amalfi.
Disliked: The only thing that could be put in the apartment are some thicker blankets for the colder nights.
Liked: We're delighted with this place. Beautiful views and peace. Perfect if you want to escape the hustle and bustle. Francesco took care of our comfort, and Gerry, who we checked in with, is a great guy with a sense of humor. His pub serves delicious food at a great price. We highly recommend it! Excellent but could be better!
Liked: Location was fantastic and the ability to be able to cook was great. Picturesque spot for the BnB
Disliked: Garden could be a little more well maintained to allow guests to sit outside for much more longer time
