Exceptional
Excellent house - would be a full 10 if not for the terraces
Liked: Spacious, modern, clean, and Paolo was very helpful and available to contact- good response time. Kitchen extremely well equipped, the house has everything you could need.
Disliked: The terraces which are key selling points and one reason we booked this house are unusable - because of the 2 big air conditioning motors placed on the terraces, make it noisy and very hot from the motor- so in high season of the summer you are stuck eating indoors which is a shame because the view from the one terrace is very nice.
Would recommend and visit again!
Liked: Great holiday house with plenty of space, all necessary items, good description and well supported by the management. Location in Avola is perfect for day trips to the local highlights such as Syracuse, Noto or Cavagrande. We stayed with 4 people.
Disliked: Only a very minor thing, the Parco Robinson nearby attracts a lot of young locals that love to have loud party till 3am. But close the windows and all is good.
We considered to miss our plane back home just to be there a couple of more weeks:-)
Liked: Big house, much more spacious than expected, tasteful and smart interior. Beautiful view of the sea from the top floor sun-terrace and only a 5 minutes walk from the beach. 10-15 minutes walt to the city center and possibiluty to get food just around the corner. Super nice and friendly hosts.
Exceptional
Liked: The house was sparkly clean, equipped with very modern appliances. Very responsible hosts who are ready to help even late at night. Easy and close access to the beach.
Disliked: Some teenagers gather close-by late at nights, so it can be a little noisy when trying to sleep.
Nice apartment on the Ionian Coast, close to Siracusa and Noto
Liked: Villa Primo Sole is a large and spacious apartment with decent space for a family of 4-5. The kitchen is well equipped and the owners provided some basics (milk, water and coffee) which was a nice touch. The apartment is within walking distance to the beach and promenade but if you wanted to visit the town you would need to drive. It is a short drive (20-30minutes) to Siracusa as well as Noto and slightly longer to Modica. These are fantastic destinations for day trips.
Disliked: The sink in the kitchen is not easy to clean. The cutting boards in the kitchen should be replaced. The shower in the main bathroom needs a deep clean.
