Exceptional
We had a lovely stay in the beautiful villa with very friendly and thoughtful hosts
Liked: The host was very friendly and responsive. She brought us breakfast and aperitifs a few times even though it wasn’t included in our booking. The property itself was very beautiful and we had a great view from our balcony. There was coffee, sugar and salt in the kitchen. The pool was also very nice. We had pots, pans and utensils for cooking. I also really liked the plastic table cloth because we were there with our 11 month old baby and it helped to keep things clean.
Disliked: We didn’t have any cleaning supplies beyond the sponge and dish soap. She did give me a broom when I asked, which I appreciated. My partner is very tall (193 cm) so the sloped ceilings of the upstairs apartment were not the most comfortable for him, but for me they were fine. The couch in the living room was very small, so it wasn’t the nicest for relaxing with two adults. The listing said there was a baby high chair, but there wasn’t one at first. She did bring one after a few days, but by then we had already bought a travel chair from a nearby baby store. It was still nice to have the chair she brought and we will keep the other for future travels.
An absolutely amazing stay!
Liked: An absolutely amazing stay with a lovely host, Elena. We felt like we were staying with family and it really topped off our Sicilian trip! Pool was great. Yes, it is shared and busier in the weekend. However, it is absolutely lovely and huge. Our two girls also loved playing with Elena’s dog. Oh and the food she gave us - incredible!
Liked: We had the most wonderful stay at this charming hotel. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by how spotless everything was – every corner of the property is immaculate, which made us feel comfortable and at ease right away. The atmosphere is peaceful and tranquil, perfect for truly unwinding. The pool area, surrounded by greenery felt like a private oasis where we could relax in serenity each day. What made our stay truly unforgettable, however, was Elena, the incredible owner. She greeted us warmly every morning with a genuine smile and treated us like family. My daughters still talk about her homemade croissants and the delicious little treats she prepared for them – such thoughtful touches that made our experience extra special. This hotel is more than just a place to stay; it’s a place to feel cared for, to rest, and to create beautiful memories. We can’t wait to return!
Would have liked to stay longer
Liked: Fantastic swimming pool with a great view of the mountains. Busy at the weekend (daytime) which was fine with us as there was a good atmosphere with music and bar. The place was well-run and the gardens nicely designed. Parking on site behind a locked gate. Elena was a great host and offered a personal service - dropping in with home-baked treats and even pasta dishes. Comfortable beds and excellent WiFi.
Disliked: Air-con was only in the main living / kitchen area. This was not a big issue as the bedroom shutters were effective and the property was well-designed to stay cool but we left bedroom doors open at night to keep air circulating.
Liked: The property is very nice, clean and close to the centre. The owners are very nice and friendly. Thanks Elena.
Perfect Stay im Avola
Liked: Beautiful apartment and a wonderful pool with a great atmosphere. It was great for young kids. We got food delivered every now and again from the owner and all of it was delicious.
Disliked: There was a party one night which was fun but loud. We didn't mind it but just to make people aware its not always peaceful.
