Exceptional
A relaxing and comfortable base - perfect for exploring East of Sicily from Mount Etna to Syracuse
Liked: Fabulous pool all to ourselves with outdoor seating areas including shade. Helpful host - lives in family home on same site but gave us privacy.
Disliked: Small tip - better utensils to cook with. Struggled with very blunt Knife! Everything else was just right and more indoor space than I expected.
Stylish and well equipped apartment with great facilities and location
Liked: Our apartment was clean, stylish and had everything we needed for a family of five people. The pool was amazing and well maintained and we had our own outdoor sitting area. Paolo was a fantastic and generous host who was also very helpful with any questions or requests. Although the apartment is part of a larger villa occupied by Paolo's family, they gave us plenty of privacy and we were made to feel welcome and able to relax. The location was also excellent for beaches, nature reserves and touring the towns of South-East Sicily.
Disliked: Nothing! The weather was rather hot for us but the air conditioning and the pool kept us cool.
Overall, it was a wonderful stay, and we would happily return
Liked: The pool was fantastic, with a perfect temperature of 28°C on June 15th. The water in it was not that salty, which was a huge plus for our kids with sensitive skin—they were very happy and comfortable throughout our stay. The villa was exceptionally well maintained, spotless, and extra clean. Although the owner lives on the property, they were very respectful of our privacy and never bothered us. Good restaurant nearby in ~12min walk.
Wonderful and we hope to return
Liked: The house is well located, about 45 minutes from Catania airport. It is big enough for a family of 4 (3 bedrooms plus kitchen and bathroom) and is air conditioned which was a huge bonus. The garden and pool area was fantastic - clean, sunny and private. The hosts live in the adjoining property but were extremely discreet throughout our stay. The house is well appointed, has private covered parking and is close to the beach and local supermarkets.
Disliked: Nothing.
Amazing overall (few sudden cons)
Liked: Paolo was fantastic, always helpful in every situation. The pool and the surrounding area are absolutely magical. Would totally recommend.
Disliked: The third bedroom is only separated by the curtain, its not a room. the washing machine was broken and we must have leave our clothes in.
Perfect spot for a relaxing family beach vacation
Liked: We LOVED the location, comfortable beds, and especially the pool. Paolo was welcoming and had a wealth of suggestions and resources ready for us. We thought the location was perfect with easy proximity to the CTA airport, Noto, and the beaches.
