Exceptional
Perfect base for a great beach town
Liked: The suite was modern, stylish, bright, comfortable, and had a magnificent view of the sea. Staff were all brilliant. Great balcony.
Disliked: Minor quibbles - would have liked some coffee making facilities in the room. We had the family suite with a kitchen and a washing machine would have been great. Those are minor quibbles, though.
Liked: Breakfast was decent. View was amazing. Location was great.
Convenient stay near Cala Gonone harbour
Liked: The host at Hotel Caramare was very friendly and welcoming. The hotel is in a great location, near Cala Gonone harbour with a beautiful sea view. The breakfast is varied and tasty. Our room was spacious and clean.
Disliked: The ground floor of the hotel is a bar that is open until 11pm. It plays quite loud music. I would have liked to just enjoy hearing the waves from our balcony rather than having to listen to music all day. Our room was located on the first floor above the kitchen. When breakfast preparations started at 5am every morning, there was a lot of noise keeping us awake, in particular the swinging saloon door between the kitchen and the bar.
