  Wonderful views and prime access to Lago di Maggiore and the promenade

  Liked: The location cannot not be beat. You step outside of the apartment building and, within seconds of walking, reach the promenade and find unparalleled views of Lago di Maggiore. For my family with young children often in strollers, access to the smooth promenade and abundant restaurants, shops, pastry bars, and gelaterie was paramount and made for a wonderful Mediterranean stay. The view from the terrace outside the apartment was also wonderful -- a view of the central garden of the apartment building, the lake, and the villages across from Cannobio. The supermarkets were comfortably within walking distance, as was the main beach in town where we spent most of our days. The building had a mix of other young families and older residents, who were very kind and friendly.

  Disliked: - The beds were not very comfortable. - The trash was full partway through our stay and, although I contacted the apartment owner about removing the full bags, they remained on our terrace for the last few days of our stay instead of being picked up and disposed of (I could not locate the common trash bins in the building). - The apartment was somewhat uncomfortably hot at night, in part because our stay was on the back end of a heat wave and in part because the placement of the apartment's windows does not provide much of a cross breeze. The apartment possessed 2 floor fans and a fan to position on a desk/dresser, but none of the fans provided much relief, even at night.

  Very good location - apartment missing few things to be fully comfortable

  Liked: - great location - new bathroom - shutters - good communication in english with owner - all-in-all we had a pleasant stay

  Disliked: - very poor or missing kitchen utensils - no micro-wave nor dish machine - furnitures relatively basic - mattress of 1st floor bed was slipping - all in all, price a bit high regarding the service

  Liked: Location is great. Nice views of the lake. Spacious place.

  Disliked: It would be convenient to have 2 sets of keys, at least for the building door, as we need a key to go out.

  Nice Apartment, great alternativ to a hotel

  Liked: the host was very friendly and helpful. you could ask any questions you had and they were happy to help as much as possible. Overall a nice apartment with a great view at Lago Maggiore.

  Disliked: for the price we would have expected a bit more. there were only small things like: the drain in the shower was clogged, the refrigerator was not cleaned, the remote control of the television did not work, the soap dispenser in the bathroom was defective, the heating had no cable and therefore could not be switched on. as i said, just little things, but overall a bit disappointing.
