Too expensive for what it was. Would not stay again
Liked: The Breakfast room/space was nice with great views
Disliked: The staff was acting rude and not helpful at all. The facility (expect of the breakfast room) were not in great shape and not at all as nice as the pictures showed. Very disappointing!
Beautiful views, no A/C
Liked: The views are very nice. Location is good and somewhat walkable to the city center. It is around 10 mins walk which was not a problem for us but there is no proper sidewalk and it's quite uncomfortable/unsafe? to walk after sunset.
Disliked: You can see the hotel used to be good. However, right now it's quite old and too big for the staff that maintains it. You can see it everywhere, reception, cleaning, general state of the rooms. When we checked in and entered the room, we immediately noticed 2 room fans (why would you need those in hotel with A/C in the amenities list?) You need those because A/C is not cooling at all, either it has no cooling liquid or it is turned off centrally, who knows. Our room did not change temperature at all after full night of being on (room temp remained at 26,5C and A/C was set to 19C). It is really a shame, this hotel would have been really good place to stay if maintained properly. But until then, I would not recommend.

Great stay in a wonderful location of Castel Gandolfo and the Lazio area
Liked: Beautiful hotel close to the town of Castel Gandolfo. Roof top pool which was great with the high temps this Summer. Great aircon, beds were extremely comfortable. Rooms were recently renovated.
A perfect location for a first visit to Castel Gandolfo!
Liked: The shower and room cleanliness were excellent. The stocked minibar was a plus. The breakfast room was spacious and airy, with a wide range of products and good quality. The little bar was adequate and the bar service available to the pool and solarium areas was a bonus. The walk to and from the town was very easy.
