Nice stay
Liked: The B&B is perfect - the room just the right size, clean and nice, lounge space great, just enough variety for breakfast, the host kind and ready to help. This is exactly what we needed/wanted and what we also got.

This old but renovated place and it's hosts are treasures that we were very lucky to find
Liked: Because this property is right beside a ZTL(Zona Traffico Limitato) our google maps was acting up and we could not find the place but Nino, the host, came and found us literally 100 metres from the property. He showed us where to park for free and was the most helpful and friendly host you could hope for. The location in the harbour of this ancient town is perfect with easy immediate access at rear to the old town garden behind it with its hundred odd steps up to the old community square surrounded by restaurants and bars with benches to relax on and absorb the views of the town and old buzz. The room was beyond all expectations. Big, so clean and airy and so well renovated in a centuries old building, retaining all of the original stone wall features and roof and ceiling structures but adding modern fittings and fixtures that were sympathetic to this historic building. The doors of the bedroom open out to a balcony overlooking the harbour, marina and section of the streets and buildings of the original ancient harbour, with great views of the mountain to the west which overlooks the town. The breakfast, which is served on a roof terrace overlooking one of the community squares and gardens, was the best breakfast we ate in sicily. It had the things that you will only find in sicily for breakfast but also some other things you might want and was served by Rosanna or Nino, who are just amazing people both for their helpfulness and cheerful friendliness. What a way to start the day on holidays. But top of the list has to be Nino, the owner of the place. He was not just friendly and so so helpful, but he also explained how best to enjoy and appreciate all that castellamare has to offer and made you feel so relaxed and comfortable that you thought this was YOUR home. Thank you Nino.

Liked: Great location. Host provided recommendations for local restaurants and for free parking. Really good breakfast.
Liked: The location is amazing. Right next to the port, if you're renting a boat for a day trip to Riserva dello Zingaro makes it an excellent choice. It's a walking distance to many restaurants (mind the many many stairs). Breakfast is simple but does the job. Staff is friendly, helpful and attentive.
Disliked: The room walls are so thin that you can hear a sneeze from the room next door. The alarm clock from the room next door would ring and we'd wake up with it.
Great location, but the room had some issue
Liked: Great location with large room. Nice terrace and breakfast area. Rooms air conditioning was not working the best, host did get it checked but it didn’t improve. Bathroom lighting very poor and hot. Water and pipes were an issue: very noisy when ever someone in the appartments used water. Great location with walking distance to corso amd marina. Parking was a 5-10min walk at 10 euro a night. Included breakfast was satisfactory.
Disliked: As mentioned the water pipes were noisey and would wake us up. Beds were a little worn and not very supportive
