Liked: New bathroom, lots of snacks and helpful advice about places to eat. Nice walk along the sea side is nearby.
Excelent Amalfi coast base camp
Liked: Central located, 5 minutes to the beach, safe area, neighbours, super friendly host, signora Claudia went above and beyond to make us feel like home, always available on whatsapp, gave us tips on local food areas, has cooking facilities, coffee, cappucino,tea machine. Nice, quiet city, not like busy Sorrento, 2 train stations nearby, the closest 450m. You can take the train to Naples or Sorrento. The Harbour is very close, for trips to Capri.
Good value for money if you only need a bed and a clean bathroom
Liked: Clean room with a friendly host. Check in was possible via WhatsApp call which automatically opened the door. Unfortunately the signal was very spotty at the gate but the host could assist from remote. The room was large enough and equipped with an AC. Everything was very clean.
Disliked: The room is located in a poorly maintained building. The staircase looks really awful and it can be a bit scary when arriving after dark. But everyone I met was very friendly, more an issue of the outer appearance. The room climate was very humid when I arrived. A few hours with the AC and fresh air afterwards fixed it. The breakfast consisted of some sealed cornettos and sweets. Don't expect much here.
