Liked: The accommodation in the villa is very nice, clean and comfortable, wonderful views of the Bay of Naples and Vesuvio from the balcony. Breakfast was tasty and lot of good food! The staff in the reception is very helpful and friendly, we prolongued our stay because we really loved it here!
Liked: excellent breakfast. Great views of the bay and Mt Vesuvius. Can walk into town and to the ferry but its steep with many stairs. Quiet.
Disliked: Staff did not replenish the coffee in room. Able to get an iron to the room but no ironing board available.
Liked: The location at the edge of the Sorrento/Amalfi coast was perfect location for exploring the area Pompeii etc with beautiful views to Vesuvius and the coast from the room balcony. The hotel room was very comfortable, very clean, well provisioned and the breakfast was good, with friendly hosts. Teh local restaurants were absolutely fabulous and great value for money.
Disliked: Access with a car was challenging at first until you understood the best way was to reverse in/out of the villa grounds so you can access the side road to the main road. The advert/brochure doesn't mention that the room is up a number of flights of stairs (60 steps) which was challenging to someone with a medical condition.
Liked: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Beautiful Views and a Wonderful Stay! We had a really lovely stay at Relais al Castello! The view is absolutely beautiful, everything was very clean, and the atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing. One thing to keep in mind is that the hotel is located up on a hill, so I would definitely recommend having a car. Uber was quite expensive, and getting around without a car can be a little difficult. A special thank you to Mario, who was incredibly friendly, helpful, and always available whenever we needed anything. He even helped me with parking when we first arrived, which I really appreciated. His kindness and hospitality made our stay even better! The breakfast could have had a little more variety, but overall, everything was great. We really enjoyed our time here and were very happy with our stay. Thank you to Mario and the whole team for making us feel so welcome. We would definitely recommend this place!
