Fabulous
Liked: We enjoyed the view of the sea from our room. The room itself was a bit small but sufficient for us and the bathroom was nice. Very clean and the location was good as it was easy to walk to the beach and a little beach bar, plus many nearby restaurants and even walking distance to a small grocery store. Nice and close to Castelsardo. A bonus was the elevator so no dragging your luggage up multiple flights. The breakfast was the same every day and was fine. Parking was free if you chose to park a couple blocks away, or you could pay to park at the hotel. We chose the free parking and since the weather was good, it wasn't a problem just walking to the car. We were able to briefly park the car at the hotel to off-load our luggage and run it up to the room, and then drive the car up to parking. Same situation when leaving.
Disliked: Hard bed and pillows. No caffeinated coffee in the room, only De-caf and when asking for caffeinated coffee at the front desk, only received De-caf again. Had to buy our own instant coffee at a Conad in Castlesardo in order to have coffee in the room.
Liked: Everyone was very friendly.
Liked: It was clean, very close to the beach and close parking spot.
Disliked: Very limited breakfast variety
Disappointing
Liked: I liked the location, the cleanliness and the good quality bedding and towels.
Disliked: No water in the fridge on arrival. Only 6 coat hangers. Minimal toiletries, in plastic. Breakfast finishing at 10 The very poor breakfast - cheap, tasteless food and juice.
Sardinian experience:)
Liked: The staff were friendly, helpful, and responsive. We had an issue with the air conditioning, but it was fixed very quickly, which we really appreciated. Overall, the atmosphere was comfortable and enjoyable. The hotel can be a little noisy at times, but the other guests were respectful and responsible, so this didn’t become a major problem during our stay.
Disliked: The breakfast is continental and was fine overall, but we felt it could offer a little more variety and quality. There can also be some noise depending on the time of day and other guests, although in our experience everyone was considerate and kept the noise to a reasonable level.
Comfortable stay
Liked: Nice and comfortable accommodation. Everything was clean and well looked after, which made a really good impression. The interior could use some modernization, but everything was functional and in good condition. Overall, a pleasant and comfortable stay with a very good standard of cleanliness. Except the air conditioning, it may be due for cleaning or servicing.
Disliked: Considering the age of the accommodation, we also felt that the price was somewhat high. I would say the price-to-value ratio was not quite balanced.
