  If the AC is repaired or if you stay in the winter, I would recommend this apartment

  Liked: Pretty apartment with a beautiful view! Kind and friendly host. Free parking is very close- 1-2 minutes walk.

  Disliked: It was HOT! That’s what made the stay uncomfortable. Everything else was fine. It has air conditioning but it wasn’t working properly. We waited 24 hours to see if it improved but the apartment never felt anything but too warm. I spoke with the host about it, she said it was due to the heat wave in Italy. But the heat wave was the same in Rome and the AC there (also in an old building) cooled very well. Francesca kindly offered to let us move to another one of her properties but we politely declined. We were scheduled to be there only 2 more nights and my family chose not to spend the time packing, moving and unpacking again.

  Spacious and quaint

  Liked: Spacious and great location. Great view.

  Disliked: Stove doesn't work well. I would not plan on cooking big meals here. One one burner worked OK. AC works great for the living/ dining area but not for the bedroom (there is only one unit). They could have better written instructions about various things in the property (washer, stove, turn on gas, recycling). No info where the circuit breaker was. We had to call the owner several times. Good thing is that she answered the phone and we could get help.

  Nice apartment in a great town for exploing Tuscany

  Liked: Spend 6 nights here and overall was very pleased with the accomidations. Plenty of space to relax for the two of us after day tripping. We made our own breakfast which was nice and ate dinners out at several of the many great nearby resturants. Excellent location as its a 5 minute walk to the center of town and a beatiful view of the vally below. We were able to drive into the LTZ to drop of out luggage which was very convenient. Apartment is located on the second floor, but it was manageable with two heavy suitcases. There is parking nearby, some of it is free. some you have to pay for.

  Disliked: Apartment needs a little TLC, ie the toilit seat is all chipped and the faucet in the sink needs a new washer as it spays water all of the place and the beds were just okay at best.

  Very comfortable stay in a lovely convenient area. Would stay again

  Liked: The heavenly views. Very comfortable beds and lovely linen. Clean and comfortable

  Disliked: The kitchen was very old but was ok as we didn’t really do much in the way of cooking. Also the shower was not the best - the shower head leaked. Also don’t drop the soap! Very small shower but otherwise bathroom was fine.

  We had a great short stay stay here. Perfect for a couple of nights in Cortona

  Liked: Perfect location for visiting Cortona. Very easy check in and check out. Comfy bed and huge bedroom.

  Disliked: The air con doesn’t quite cool down the bedroom which was a shame.
