  Good property in the heart of Cortona

  Liked: Great location on the hill, lovely town

  If you want to feel like a local, this a perfect place to stay

  Liked: Loved the entire place - I felt like I was in my zia's home - spacious bedroom with queen bed, kitchen with everything I needed for simple meals, bathroom with hairdryer, flat iron, bathrobes, and good lighting for make up! Choice of espresso via moka pot or espresso pods which were supplied! Lots of light coming in from windows. Wash machine with lines to dry outside or inside. I am a hiker, so loved the steep walk up the cobble stone streets to the apartment.

  Disliked: The stove top ( electric ) a little hard to work. Bed was a little stiff. Some nights startling motorino sounds zipping by!

  Very unpleasant experience

  Liked: The apartment Is well located to visit the town.

  Disliked: Unfortunately, my stay at the appartment was rather unpleasant. The linen on the bed seemed dirty, as I found many short and long hairs on both the sheets and pillow covers, as well as many wrinkles as if they were used. When I informed the owner as soon as I found this, she insisted that the bed sheets were brand new and clean, which didn't look like that to me as they seemed rather old and washed off. I ended up laying one of the extra blankets on the bed and a towel on the pillow to sleep. The hot water in the apartment was barely warm, even after turning on the water heater, so taking a nearly cold shower was unpleasant, especially as the apartment was really cold too. I could have used the oven or the stove to warm up a bit, but they do not work, and the electric cook top found in the kitchen, did not work either. Even after following the instructions found in the manual, it kept showing an error message, then turning off by itself. When I informed the owner of all this, she arrogantly insisted that everything in the apartment works just fine, except that it doesn't. At least not during my stay, unfortunately.

  Lovely serviceable little apartment, spotty Internet

  Liked: Very serviceable little apartment. Good value for the money. Apartment was very clean. It is a very good size for a single person to spend a week. The bed was quite comfortable. Check in was easy. The apartment was well stocked in terms of dishes and cooking equipment. The location was good. It is short but steep walk to the main street.

  Disliked: The Internet was very spotty, slow and sometimes just didn’t work. Also very little cell reception. Definitely could not use it for any type of work or FaceTime.
