  Liked: Beautiful views, perfect location just off the main piazza, clean and charming rooms, and very warm and helpful staff. The caretaker helped me book an early morning taxi (not easy in rural Italy) and ensured I made my train on time. Would not have been an easy task without them.

  Good location, most else lacking

  Liked: The location is great, very central. View from the room is nice.

  Disliked: We had an experience where the hotel lost power at 11:30 at night in a thunderstorm, but no other building did. The hotel is not staffed at night, so nobody was here to fix it. Alarms were going off. We had to go out in the rain door to door to find someone with the number of the hotel owner to call and get someone to come fix it. That wasn’t fun. Then at 8am someone with a key tried to come into our room. The breakfast is also lackluster. Nice view but food that feels like it’s been sitting out. The WiFi is also very poor, though that seems city wide. We were ready to leave.

  Dingy with good location

  Liked: Location great, other than that it was the worst hotel in our trip thru Tuscany, horrible breakfast, very dingy room with awfull bed. No extras, like a luggage rack or mini frig.
