Disliked: Size of room
Liked: I completed the self check-in according to the instructions and after the official check-in time. The room was clearly not cleaned after the previous guest. The bed had disgusting stains, there was a strong urine smell, and the room was impossible to stay in. It was also much smaller than advertised, and the photos on Booking.com do not reflect reality. I immediately informed the host, requested cancellation, and explained that the room was uninhabitable. The host replied that the room had not yet been cleaned and that if I did not want to stay, it was my problem. I am a long-time Booking.com customer and have never experienced such unacceptable conditions or had to cancel a reservation before. After a long drive, I was forced to find alternative accommodation.
