Liked: Stepped downstairs to cafe where breakfast was provided and to laneways.
Disliked: We think it would be beneficial to travellers to supply an iron and ironing board for travellers, even if they were stored in a communal area.
Liked: Very good location of the apartement in the center of beautiful small town, very nice welcom and excellent breakfast.

Liked: Absolutely fantastic location, right in the centre of town. You step out the door straight into Locorotondo’s beautiful historic streets. The accommodation itself is gorgeous, spotless and full of character, and the staff are genuinely warm and helpful. Mariantonietta was a wonderful host, always available with tips and making us feel completely at home. The restaurants, cafés and bars nearby were all outstanding, with great food, very welcoming service and a real community vibe. Our host’s recommendations were spot on every time, and there are plenty of excellent little places to stumble across if you’re feeling adventurous. Everywhere we ate felt like enjoying home cooked food, the kind of meals where you linger over a glass of wine and do not want the evening to end. If you are looking for a base to experience the best of Puglia, with a beautiful town, amazing food and genuinely kind people, this place is perfect.
Disliked: Honestly, there is nothing negative to say, just a couple of things to be aware of. There are a few stairs to get to the room on the top floor, but the views over the town centre from the roof terrace are absolutely stunning, so it is worth the climb. You cannot drive right to the property door, but you can get very close on the main road near Chiesetta Rettoria Madonna Addolorata. Because it is right in the historic centre, the surrounding roads are sometimes closed to traffic, and on Fridays there is a big local market which makes access a little busier. My suggestion is to send a message to Mariantonietta before you arrive and she will explain the easiest way to get there.
Liked: The location is perfect. The room and bathroom is spacious and it was very clean. The linen is lovely crisp and fresh, and towels fluffy. The bed was extremely comfortable, especially the pillows. Our room had lovely balcony. Breakfast was included in a small bar downstairs and adequate. We paid an extra fee for bicycle storage.
Disliked: The water pressure is high, so the shower hose has a mind of its own and it take some doing not to get everything in and outside of the shower wet. Anyone with limited mobility, heavy luggage or a fear of steep stairs may be challenged by the many precarious steps to get up to and into your room. It was not a problem for us, but something to keep in mind.

Liked: Right n the heart of town! Comfortable bed and lots of outdoor seating.
Disliked: If you have a car, find a place to park as much before 7pm as possible especially on a weekend. We had friends to drop off outside the old district and arrived at 8. Due to an evening rally of sorts even the public garage was “complete”. If this happens to you maybe do what we did: went to a local bar/restaurant “Friends Cafe” to relax a few hours until all clears (they have parking) and garage is open.
