Exceptional
Charming apartment in Manarola
Liked: Quaint, great views, very clean and a comfy bed. The host was very attentive and carried my heavy suitcase up and down the stairs to the apartment. There was a washing machine and clothes lines outside, it was so nice to let me clothes air dry.
Disliked: There were many uneven stairs through various levels and walkways to get to the apartment, I would have never been able to carry my bag myself and i am in good shape. The shower was very small and the ceiling low, if you are big and tall, it probably wouldn't be a good fit.
An unforgettable stay in the mountains with the most beautiful sunset
Liked: This property was absolutely unforgettable. It was up in the mountain and provided such a great view of the gorgeous sunset. The outdoor set up with lawn chairs and delicate lights made us feel so special. I even dared the outdoor shower! I would highly recommend this apartment in a heartbeat. Just make sure you’re able to climb some stairs.
Disliked: I can’t say anything negative about it. But you need to be able to climb a some steep stairs to get up there!
Truly spectacular
Liked: The most amazing view! Lovely kitchen too.
Apartment is private and offers beautiful views of Manarola and Punta Mesco
Liked: Beautiful views and the host was very responsive. The location was ideal for our stay (and we got extra stairs each day).
Hosting as should be
Liked: A lil place, nothing special but Roberto is. Perfect host and helps when possible
Disliked: It was a lil tiny house with low ceilings. But hi, Roberto makes all good
Perfect for a short stay in Manarola
Liked: Sunset Manarola is a compact but charming apartment located at the top of the village of Manarola. From street level it is up a couple of flights of steep and narrow steps, but the reward is the amazing views from the small terrace where we ate breakfast every morning and enjoyed drinks and magnificent sunsets each evening. The owner, Roberto, is a perfect host who could not be more helpful. He thoughtfully provided coffee, water and snacks for our arrival and gave us lots of advice about the village, best restaurants etc. The apartment is clean and comfortable and the bathroom is newly tiled. It suited us very well for our three day stay in Manarola and we have no hesitation in recommending Roberto's property to others.
Disliked: Nothing - there were mosquitos outside in the evening, but we wore repellant, so this was not a problem. There was a bug lamp provided for inside the flat, but we never saw any insects inside.
